Wisakyjak is one of the many characters within the spiritual world of the Woodland Cree Indians of Northern Caanda. Wisakyjak is thought of as the Clever One and is capable of doing both good and bad. A trickster as well as a friend, Wisakyjack is responsible for changing many of the animals so that they appear to us as they do today.
